Actor Vikrant Massey is going to work with first-time director Niranjan Iyengar on a movie about the famous author Ruskin Bond.
Ruskin Bond’s first book, The Room on the Roof, was published in 1956 and won a prize in 1957. Bond has written over 500 short stories, essays, and novels. These include 69 books for kids.
He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1992 for his book called Our Trees Still Grow in Dehra. He received the Padma Shri in 1999 and the Padma Bhushan in 2014. He lives with his new family in a place called Landour, Mussoorie, in Uttarakhand. Vikrant started his acting career by playing Aamir Hassan in Dhoom Machaao Dhoom and became very famous for his roles in Dharam Veer, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, and Qubool Hai.
He started his acting career in a movie called Lootera. After that, he played smaller roles in movies like Dil Dhadakne Do, Half Girlfriend, A Death in the Gunj, and Chhapaak. He was also highly praised for his performances in the popular web series Mirzapur and Broken But Beautiful.
