North Korea’s minister told the UN General Assembly on Monday that “it’s not possible for anyone to deny” the atomic equipped country the option to test weapons.

“We are simply developing our public guard to protect ourselves and dependably shield the security and tranquility of the country,” Kim Song said in New York.

He took to the platform at the UN central command not long after South Korea’s military said the North had terminated an “unidentified shot” into the ocean off its east coast.
