McDonald’s restaurants in the southern and western region in India would be providing 24/7 contactless delivery in Mumbai . This is happening due to the spread of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra . Hence to participate in lowering of the cases and prevent the spread , this procedure of delivery has been started.
Saurabh Kalra, Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s India West and South said “We have been able to cater to our customers’ demand through our omni-channel strategy making McDonald’s food available for consumers wherever, whenever and however they want.”
They have also announced the vaccination cover for all of its 10,000 employees including both the employees of corporate office employees as well as the restaurant staff .
