Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar gave a hint about the third installment of his well-liked action series ‘Don’.
Akhtar, who made the first two parts with Shah Rukh Khan, posted about the new project on Instagram and Twitter.

The initial ‘Don’ movie was released in 2006. The second part was released in 2011 with Shah Rukh and Priyanka Chopra Jonas playing the main roles again as their characters.
The franchise began when Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s company, Excel Entertainment, purchased the rights to a 1978 film called the same name. This film starred Amitabh Bachchan and was written by Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan.
In May, Sidhwani said that the third part was still being written.
Until my friend Akhtar completes writing it, we will not take any action. Currently, he is working on finishing the script. We are all excited to see ‘Don’, Sidhwani told PTI.
