The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has given a request asking Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) public secretary Pankaj Gupta to show up before it and record his assertion under the Prevention of Money laundering Act (PMLA) regarding a case where Punjab MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira is being explored by the focal office.

Sources in the ED said Gupta had been approached to join the examination and show up before the Investigation Officer (IO) of the organization for the situation one week from now. They said Gupta would be addressed regarding a case where the Punjab MLA is being tested.

The focal monetary test organization had looked through the premises of Khaira in March this year regarding its test under PMLA.

Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who was prior an AAP part, is being researched for a situation after the ED took cognisance of two separate FIRs identified with drug dealing and phony identification.
